Our Story

There’s no better feeling than when we match one of our precious pets with their caring new owner. It’s why we put so much time, love and effort into making sure these special animals continue to be bred.

 

Capital Seminole K-9 Training Institute, Inc. was created out of a love of a father for his sons. My name is Bishop Joseph Brown and I have been a community leader and pastor for the past 60 years, and 40 years in Tallahassee, Florida. I have two sons and 1 son-in-law that wanted to serve our great nation in the United States Military.

Unfortunately, after several tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, 2 sons and 1son-in-law returned home being diagnosed with PTSD. In an effort to help them and others along the way, our family decided to start raising the original straight back German Shepherd dogs.

After many months of research, we got connected with Robin Krumm who was a God send. She was able to provide our starter dogs from Royalair German Shepherds.

We are blessed to have a brother that is a breeder with over 30 years of experience, who has brought his expertise to the business as well.

​

Our master trainers spend several hours a day walking and socializing the dogs, as well as grooming and daily care.
